Our Culture
Culture has been described as the practices, rituals, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills – as well as the instruments, objects, artefacts and cultural spaces - associated with communities or groups and in some cases, individuals.
Our culture is reflected in what we say and what we do. It can be formal or informal. It can be represented in what we wear, what we put in a recipe, our arts and crafts, folklore, work practice, what is written in a song, the idiom of a dance or piece of music like the strathspey or Scottish step dance. Our culture reflects how we relate with each other and the land. It is core to our identity, it is our heritage.... it is who we are.

Remember the people from whom you come.....
We will organise and host a number of cultural events and workshops throughout the year.
In the meantime, here is a little insight... a doorway into our Gaelic Culture.
